Although people say diamond cut is more secure in fact there is a machine that can scan the paper diamonds and mix them up and scan them again till it assembles the image. There’s no automatic device that can unfold strips and scan them.
How important is security here? Are you shredding the molecular structure if a drug that’s going to cure 80% of cancers or just protecting your ordinary personal identity?
What do you do with the shreddings? If you compost then strips are best and once they’re wet they’re very hard to decipher.
Get something cheap unless you have valuable secrets but if you do burn the paper and don’t let it go in the trash!
