In the past week and a half I have shredded nearly 40 years worth of old bills, bank statements etc etc etc reducing ~8 file drawers down to three. So this machine got a hard workout. It does a great job of turning private papers into confetti bits.
It is quiet and fast.

As it says it will it does stop after some minutes of continuous operation. Now that the big job is over that will probably never happen again.

About the only negative – and a minor one is that if filled too full shreds will spill out the back of the bin.

Also the instructions are minimal. They don’t talk about shredding staples or paperclips. Staples go right through – paperclips I did not try.

There is also no information about when or even if to lubricate. I have been doing it every 2-3 bags.
